As you may know some of our customers would like to use map control with their own Bing Maps subscription.
In FrontVue 11.2 (and PcVue 11.2) you can create an additional mapconfig.xml configuration file (to be copied in the “Configuration files” for FrontVue, “C” for PcVue project folder) to configure these private connections (they need of course to have their BingMap clients key and their credential activated) .
Mapconfig.xml example ?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
When inserting a map control, the “name” configured in the XML file will appear in the providers list.
Selecting this provider, map control will connect using the configured client key and credentials. This only woks today with Bing Maps
A built-in HMI configuration will be done later (version 12?) for these options.
