Third in the series...
We received complains in the past that some information was not correctly documented when it comes to operating system settings you need to care before installing PcVue (or before running it).
Think about UAC, ACL...
In the online help for v12, we took this complains altogether and have consolidated a topic named "Operating system related considerations" in the Installation sub-book.
While the term "Prerequisites" is used to designate software packages that are necessary and will be installed on the computer as part of the PcVue installation, and the "Deployment" book contains many information related to how to deploy the PcVue software packages/project depending on the architecture and system design, this new consolidated topic contains hints and tips you need to have in mind before installing PcVue, up to the moment you will run it for the first time. It only contains general information, independent from the projet design, deployment architecture, installation options...
In the same spirit, you know that PcVue 12 installation media no longer include SQL Server Express nor SQL Server Management Studio. But the online help contained many useful hints related to SQL Server installation. To keep them, we have added a topic named "SQL Server related considerations". It is also located in the Installation sub-book.
I invite you to read them.
