Hello

I want to configure archiving with Oracle. But I don't how to do it.

I used the Microsoft ODBC for Oracle driver, and another created by my database. With the Microsoft ODBC drier, I have an error "column type incorect" on the event viewer. With the other one, I don't have it but it doesn't seems to work at all ?

Do you anything about this issue ?

Thanks in advance

I had recently an experience with Oracle.
On 1 PC W7/32 bits it worked perfectly.
On another PC W2008 R2/64 bits I had the same error.

What's your OS?

To debug you can activate the logs in Administrative tools/ODBC dialog ....

I install it on W7 32 bits but can't make it work with that. Maybe it is something with the configuration with the oracle server also.

Hi All,
I remind you that there is a KB article explaining how to make PcVue and ODBC work in a 64 bit environment
Please have a look to KB370 first

I had the client who wants to conifgure Oracle with PcVue. His config :
- Windows 2008 R2 64 bits
- PcVue 10.

I made him configure the ODBC driver with SYSWOW64/odbcad32.exe. Problem : it doesn't see the driver created by the Oracle database (Oracle in Oradb11g ...).

What can be the problem here ?

Hi I think it is a problem with the oracle version.
Check on internet but there is an issue with ODBC and the latest Oracle version.
