How to force PcVue to archive (Trend) values even if there is no change of value?
A customer is having an issue in Dream Report that some values don’t log to reports as they don’t change in the report time definition.
Any suggestions? This one has me stumped :unsure:

This is possible using a dll that is now provided with PcVue.
My 'answer' from this morning to Karl Storch:
This is working only with HDS archiving. Attached is a sample project (HDSPERIOD.zip).
In this sample if variables has the value HDSPERIOD in their attribute 6 then they are archived every 1 minute.

OK. I seem to remember this mentioned before. Should there be some documentation? At least in the KB perhaps?

With the method describes in this article you can force sampling with HDS or proprietary archive unit.
