Size limit of Log Files

Hello guys,

Do you know if the size of Log Files folder has a limit？or internal log files?

Hi Mark,

The size limit is the one configured on your archive unit!

Ho, I think I misunderstood your question!
Did you ask the BinLog Files folder?

Yes, the BinLog Files folder and its' files.

The Log Files has no limit
Trace files have limits that are configurable in:
General Settings / Audit Diagnostics / Options tab

And do you have experienced this case: It will create some big files in Log Files folder, may hundreds of MB when PcVue crash.

Hi Mark,

In some versions, when PcVue crashes, a dumpfile is created in Log Files and can be greater than 500Mb.
Now they are created in a seperate diretory, Dump Files in Bin also.

I want to add that the configuration of Log Files is located in the file ETCAudits.ini
