Referring to KB576 Communication between remote OPC Server and PcVue, I have a client whose PcVue not on Domain but the OPC Server is on a Domain trying to connect to PcVue.
He mentioned that after few communication trials, the PcVue server crashed.
Highlighting these two lines on their sv32.Crash.Report.txt
1: ERROR: SymGetLineFromAddr64, GetLastError: 487 (Address: 718589AF)
1: 718589AF (svOPCSvr2): (filename not available): COPCAccess::ProcessItemId
Is there a correct way to communicate since the KB 576 only for "This configuration has been implemented with two PC's belonging to the same workgroup with the same administrator user (blank password)."

What is your operating system ?
It is necessary to have the same Windows user on PcVue and OPC server stations.

Windows 7 Professional.
I am waiting for their reply on user and type of Windows their DCIM OPC server is on too.
