Hello everybody,
A Customer would like to convert his vijelook project to a PcVue project, is there any documentation, tips, to help him doing that ?

Hello Brice,
We will continue this conversation by mail.
But for your information I have noticed 4 distinct demand like this one recently.
During the last years I have writen 3 documents for 3 differents customers who have made such migration.
I will give you those documents.
This year I have discussed with Nico D about a tool to do such migration and he thinks that the best solution would be to have a smart generator. No very difficult to do but of course he has other priority like 11.1 developments.
With the end of Windows XP support I am afraid we will have more and more request about migration from PlantVue/VijeoLook to PcVue. And it is the case. Please report me every demands and I will store them in my notes to demonstrate the potential business. Imagine we create this smart generator and we communicate about the possibility to easily transform a VijeoLook/PlantVue application into a PcVue application... We could sell many licences and especially in foreign countries.

Les points importants
l Arbre des variables
○ On peut récupérer tout ce qui a été utilisé au moins une fois dans une animation.
○ On récupère tous ce qui était coché en Trend, Alarm, Log.
○ Tout se trouve dans RTDSVar.dat, RTASAlm.dat et HDSTrend.dat
l IHM
1. Multilingue
§ Supprimer les langues supplémentaires du fichier MLang.dat
2. VBA
§ Forms à détacher dans PlantVue.
§ Conversion en ASCII.
§ Import dans PcVue.
§ Forms à rattacher dans PcVue.
§ Voir avec EE si autre possibilité.
§ Pas besoin d'ajouter les variables au démarrage.
3. Animations
§ Il faut remplacer les éventuels crochets ouvrant des variables animées par des underscores, et virer les éventuels crochet fermant.
l Utilisateurs
○ Il y a intérêt à tout refaire.
l Recettes
○ Faisable en parssant les fichiers XML dans Recipe Files pour créer des fichiers texte dans le répertoire R de PcVue.
l Models d'Expressions
○ Fichier ExpModel.dat à convertir en EXPRM.DAT si possible.
l Raccourcis clavier
○ Keyboard.dat
l Séquence qualité
○ Ca doit passer tout seul
l Synoptique de démarrage.
○ Options.dat vers PARAM.DAT
