Hello,
One of our customer uses PcVue communicate with Rockwell RSlinx by OPC(notification mode),The project was running for about two months, all controls of the value are OK.
But now they cannot control a few of values. The situation is:
PcVue sets a bit to 1 by an button animation, then PLC reset this bit to 0.But now the bit is 1 in PcVue,0 in PLC and RSlinx.Just few bits is unnormal.
PcVue version is 11.0.
Do you have experiences on such issue?
BR,
Mark
Hi Mark,
What kind of animations are involved?
Handled or pulse command?
If so, may be KB658 as workaround.

Edouard
Thank you Edouard.
The animation is label.
I do not understand.
How can you send a command with animation Label?
Are the OPC commands sent by animation or program or else?
I send a commmand by a sending bit animation, the command is to 1, the sending mode is label.
BR,
Mark
Mark, in your situation the source of this issue can be PcVue, OPC Server or PLC.
I advise you set the OPC traces in PcVue checking the write action is done correctly or not.
OPC server probably implements some logs too.
Nico
Hello,
Yes, I agree with you.
We check a parameter "Send write request even if the value to write is the same as the current value" and the customer tested the same project at their office, no such problem again, Now they apply this modification to the project on site.
Br,
Mark
