Is it possible to configure PcVue as a SNMP server ?
If yes what is the version supported, v2 or v3 ?

How to configure it ?

Hello Nagen!

Yes, thanks to an implementation made by Manu Duval it's possible since v11.1 in v2 and v3!

The basic principle is that PcVue talk with the SNMP Server of Windows that can expose informations (tags) coming from PcVue.

We made an interesting meeting about that in Sevres this winter.

Hello Filippo,

As far as I know SNMP windows service doesn't support V3... So it's only V2.

Nagen, you did the SNMP agent qualification, right?

Hi All
Actually there is a private article KB that allows you to get everything regarding SNMP Agent. KB766.
If you cannot access it (it is in the private part please ask Gilles or Nicolas K.)
And as Sylvain rightly said only V1 and V2 are supported as an SNMP agent not V3
