Hello guys,
Our customer told us about a problem that he has, where it comes to several switches of the active server in the redundancy right after receiving an invalid message from the other station in the redundancy.
After the switch the same message occurs on the station, which now is the active server and the switch is performed again.
The message out of the trace.dat:
---------

So the first question before starting any investigation is:
- what does the massage / error mean?
The second question of course is:
- what could / can cause such messages / errors and this behavior?
Anybody has an idea? Could anybody help me?
P.S. Do you know a “referent” for “Networked Applications”? If we don´t allready have, we should have a thread with all official referents ;-).
Thank you in advance.
Hi Johannes,
About the message itself I dont know. You must do a SPR for that.
Now, for the unexpected server switches I have questions:
- Does it stop or you have an infinite ping-pong effect?
- Did your customer make a script managing the switch (i.e. when losing modbus communication I switch the server)? I receommend you double check that...
Nico
Hi Johannes,
Regarding the message just a silly question are you sure that the station have exactly the same PcVue version and build?
