Hello,

I'm trying to help a customer to read alarms status using our WebServices server interface.
He's able to open the session, get the sessionID and send the subscribe.
But, when they ask, with the SubscriptionPolledRefresh method, they don't get back the "replyData" field with the alarm array.

Apparently our documentation is not updated, some fields included in the WSDL are missing: Domain = None, Nature = None, Format = None, Context = None, Token = None, ServerId = None, Sound = None

Do you have a working example of a WebServices client to get alarm data or any other suggestion in order to read active alarms?

Thank you!

Filippo

Hi Filippo,
Did your customer try with Postman?

Thank you, Nico!
I don't think so... if you have some hint or time for a brief explanation, I can pass this info to my customer.

Thanks a lot for your usual availability!! 🙂

Hi Filippo,
Postman is a well known tool used in the "Web Services world" and it is perfect for testing any one.
I used it once to check our web services long time ago. But I made a very basic usage: Login/ Read 1 variable / logout
I will give you in Private an internal document describing how to use it

Raphaël has created and is maintaining an internal tool named SvWebDiag.exe

See kb812 for more information.
maybe not the best tool to play with alarms but see what I get from PcVue 12 with it:
