Hi
I use import files in C1 folder in a project.
In this case if I modify a configuration setting from PcVue it is replaced by the import at start up with the file in C1.
I'd like to be able to do modification from PcVue, and get the modifications done to copy it to the import file in C1.
Problem: I can't find the modification done in PcVue.
I thought it should have been saved in the CTEMP directory but it's not the case. Neither in the Cvarexp.dat
Any idea?
Thank you

Hi François,
I have the same experience as you.
My customers who use C1, made the modifications directly in the C1 files because if you make modification in PcVue you never retreive it.
If someone has a trick, I take it too to share it with my customers.

Hi François,

A long time ago, the C1 import took into account the field 'object root' (column 28/22)
If the field was 0, changes were then written in the Varexp.dat
If I am not mistaken, the new and normal behavior is that the changes operate only in runtime and no modification are written in files if the variable is imported from C1.
Of course, new variables are saved in Varexp.

Hi Francois,

I double checked and I confirm it is not possible. C1 is really used to be managed b an external tool.
