Have a question about Libraries in AE. Can someone explain how exactly is the "Hide/Show in Selectors" option supposed to work? From my own testing it just doesn't seem to be functional at all, or is very inconsistent. What I do is just flip the visibility on and off and then check if the Library in question is hidden from adding a symbol/image or not.
Usually it does not seem to follow the option setting. Is it because this option is not supposed to work with Shared or built-in libraries, and those are meant to be always visible or something? That was the only libraries I tried it with.

Hello,
I did some test and it seems that it works if look at the menu File --> Open.
But it doesn't work if look at the menu Insert --> Symbol or Insert --> Image.
I wrote SPR 59549 about that.
If you restart PcVue the menu are updated. And yes, it works fine with shared libraries. Only Local libraries have this issue.
