Hi everyone,
Wago changes its programming tool from Codesys to e!Cockpit.
The issue of my customer is to import e!Cockpit configuration in PcVue with the Smart Generator Wago because e!Cockpit doesn't export .sym files but .xsd, .gvl & .xml.
Are you aware about this? Is there something planned to change/improve the Smart Generator Wago in order to ingrate e!Cockipt export files?
I've put those files in a zip in attached file.
Thanks
Manu
Hy Manu,
I know that if you ask WAGO technical support, they can explain how to export e!Cockpit variables into an EXCEL file.
It is probably not native and needs some advanced technical skills for the moment.
If, on the other hand, you are using PcVue version 12, you are lucky since the Application Architect is able to read information into an EXCEL file !!! You don't really need a smart generator with version 12. It is probably more powerfull to create AA templates and link them to the EXCEL file.
We will ask Wago from time to time to know if they have a real (native) export format usable to create a new smart generator anyway. If you have any information, please don't hesitate to share with us here.
I will Ludo!
Hi Manu,
For your information: With e!Cockpit 1.5 WAGO reintroduced the symbol file export. However, the format is similar but slightly different compared to the CoDeSys 2.x export.
Hi Guys,
any update to use Smart Generator Wago with e!cockpit export?
Thanks
Manu
Hi
I have an update, the development is on going process. That's a good news.
