Hello,
Do you have any recommendation for SMS modem device? It's better to have a name and manufacturer so that the customer can buy it easily.
Sorry, the SMS modem with serial port is better.

PcVue only supports GSM modem, shouldn't be a problem either it is a Serial or USB dongle.
- HUAWEI 3G USB Dongle
It works with this modem.
There are many brands at the market.

Modems are different for each PcVue versions.
For PcVue 11.1, modems are below :
Validated modems (testing in qualification) are mentionned into KB article 713
