Hello,

For Profibus conncection our driver list still only refers to the PCI editions of the Woodhead Applicom cards.

Do you have any experience in regard to the compatibility of the PCI-Express cards, for example the applicom® PCIE2000ETH ???

See here: List of Applicom Profibus adapters

Hello Armin

I made the Applicom qualification for 11 last week with a card PCIE2000ETH. You are lucky 😉

It works with Windows Seven and the version 4.1 of Molex driver.

It is necessary to wait the Molex version 5 for Windows 8.

Anthony?
Could you please tell me which protocols you have qualified with the PCIE2000ETH?

I am interested to have some further info about Profibus FMS.
According to Molex Profibus FMS has been discontinued quite some time ago.

Can you tell me if Profibus FMS is still supported by PcVue? If yes, which Applicom card needs to be used? The PCIE2000ETH does not seem to be capable of that.

Ciao Armin,

I have a big system using PcVue 9.0 - Profibus FMS & Applicom in Florence Water Plant.

I have checked with my contact there and they're using:

PcVue 9.0
Applicom v.3.5 (latest version that support Profibus FMS)
Applicom Board PCU1500PFB

Hoping that this info can help you.

Okay, thanks.
So if I understand well this driver can be used as long as the legacy-3.5-Applicom-driver is available, right?
