My customer wants to use CCTV with the IP-POSM protocol.

Are we still need the ActiveX component to view the CCTV video on the mimic

Thank you

What is the advantage using CCTV with IP-POSM protocol rather than normal CCTV ?
You can control the cameras using PcVue.

But you still need the ActiveX component to display the CCTV, then must embed the ActiveX in a mimic and manage it using VBA.

You cannot view any CCTV display from the WEBVUE , it is not supported. But you can create a link in WebVue to open another browsers, especially IP Cameras has its own webpage to display it.

Hi Nagen,

Yes it is still the case. Our driver only exchange data (status etc.) with the POSM system.
