Hi,
Takato and I had a chat about this Overflow tolerance and the explanation in the documentation could be confusing.
Correct me if I am wrong but the Overflow tolerance is taken into account for communication variables with scaling option only.
I have made some tests to double-check.
'All devices - Settings applicable to all data acquisition devices.'
should be instead
'All devices - Settings applicable to all data acquisition devices. Registers with scaling enabled'

Important Update!
During a session to explain this setting where I though the scaling option was mandatory. It seems not to be the case.
I got trapped because I tried with Modbus TCP/IP and integer type and a small value on the Maximum.
I need to achieve further tests and will post again.

Sorry for the late update, I will do it briefly.
Overflow tolerance is working as documented. The confusing thing is regarding the phrasing. Sometimes percent or permille is used or mentioned but we need to keep in mind that the value is permille (‰)
