Wireshark is a very great tool but, actually, it doesn't work very well with IEC61850.
Fortunately one guy got the Open Source code, modified it and create a IEC61850 dedicated wireshark.
Unfortunately this product is not maintained now and we can't download it anymore 🙁
Fortunately Jean-Sebastien had the great idea to keep it therefore we have this great tool. I make this post in the forum as we can't distribute this software officially to our customers so we can't make a KB article.
The software name is: SkunkWorks
It is attached to this post.
It looks exactly like Wireshark. The only difference is the filter name for IEC61850.
In Wireshark it is: MMS
In SkunWorks it is: iec61850
