Hi.

I have a customer request for the Moeller SucomA protocol. But I do not have experience with it.

Do you have any experience?
Any references?

Are there any particularities about this protocol? What is the best way to connect it? KepWare OPC or Applicom board?

I don't have any experience with this protocol but be careful it is no longer supported in version 10. (See KB450)

Ooops... Thanks, Anthony. That is good to know.

I suppose it is not one of the drivers that have been reintegrated with 10.0sp1, or is it?

No it is not reintegrate with 10 SP1.

Perhaps, it will be in version 11 (or 11 SP1) because I have a client who wants to migrate and uses this protocol, but the order has not arrived...

Hi everybody.
I have the same problem than Armin.
I have to study a migration in 10.0SP1 of an application in 8.10.
This application uses Sucom-a protocol.

PcVue 10.0 SP1 seems to reintegrate the driver.
But my customer wants to change its architecture in TCP.
Do you know any converter able to change sucom-a in modbus-TCP or other TCP protocol ?

If there is not, do you know an OPC Server ?

Jean-Michel I think you should ask Moeller if they have an OPC Server....

I have not find any OPC Server on Internet. Only SCADA-HMI softwares. I will ask to Moeller if they have one.

Do you know any converter sucoma -> TCP ?

My customer has 10 sites with this protocol, so I think the best way is to find a converter.

According to our list of supported protocols (see White Papers section on the docPortal) the KEPware OPC server includes a driver for Moeller SucomA.

hi.
Armin, where did you find the document on the docPortal ?
I don't find anything about KEPServer on White Papers page.

Err... But as I have just seen the Moeller entry seems to have been removed in the 2012 version of the document. It was still in there in the 2010 version:
