Today we were stuck with the computer of a customer. Impossible to start HDS properly because PcVue OPC server was not reachable.
We did some basic tests like creating an empty project and trying to connect to an OPC server -> no OPC server in the list!!!
Then we installed Kep OPC server with Simulation suite driver to try its Quick client. When we clicked on the Quick client button we saw a Windows popup trying to install something in Wonderware!!!
We canceled that, uninstalled every Archestra and Intouch things from the computer, reboot and tada... Quick client and PcVue worked perfectly.

I met the same problem during PcVue training. The customer did not want to uninstall Archestra.
I modified some autorization on DCOM OPC Enum instance. Add the window user on OPC Enum security tab.
OPC server and HDS worked fine.
