Hello,

We are testing OPC UA redundancy with Beckhoff PLC OPC UA server. There are two Beckhoff PLCs with an OPC UA server. We are using PcVue 16.0.0 - rc014 [01311-4c5716b6] version to do this testing. What we observed is we can able to connect to the Active OPC UA server but Passive Server is not been able to connect whenever active fails. We are getting 'Self-sign certificate and private key creation failed" trace in the event viewer. We configured a self-sign certificate and also selected to ignore certificate-related setting in the OPC UA setting, Still we are not able to remove the error and performed redundancy.

Hello,

We are also continually getting the below image error from the standby server in redundancy mode, but when we configured this server independently then we are not getting this error.

Hello,

Regarding 'Self-sign certificate and private key creation failed' error message, it will be occur each time you have configured a Self-sign certificate in PcVue project and the OPC UA server is not accessible, for any reason (not started, not reachable, certificate issue, ...).
