If PcVue supports natively S7-200 Smart PLC and if some customers already use it?

Hi,

The same question has been asked by Mark last year. The post has not been completed as we were waiting a reply from him. Maybe now he knows...

By the way, checking the link you gave I could see the following:

- Page 9: All the CPU modules are equipped with Ethernet interface, which supports Siemens S7
protocol, can support many terminal connections

PcVue supports this protocol. But take care as there is no specific entry in the PcVue communication dialog for this PLC. Meaning there is probably some difference like, for example, using a particular DB.

- Page 9: On board RS485 port as well as additional RS232/485 port using CM01 can communicate
with the inverter and touch screen and so on third party equipments. Signal board offers
configurable RS232/RS485 port, maximally supports for up to 4 devices.
Serial port supports the following protocols:
• Modbus RT

PcVue supports Modbus Serial
