Hello,
You probably know that since W7 the Ctrl+Alt+Del policy has been changed by Microsoft. The only way is to change some settings in the Windows Policy. But the Shutdown button is still here.
One of our customer found the trick to hide it. Note that I didnt verify what he said but he told me it works. So, because he is a serious guy, I trust him.
Setting to do:
Run gpedit.msc from start menu.
From User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Start Menu and Taskbar - Remove and prevent access to the Shut Down, Restart, Sleep, and Hibernate commands | Enable
In the desktop, right click anywhere - New - Shortcut
Type shutdown.exe /s /t 00 and click next. Type Shutdown for the name then click finish.
Do the same with Restart “shutdown.exe /r /t 00”.
Right click and select “Pin to Start” and “taskbar”.
