Hello!

I have a nice question from a customer.

He want to know exactly what happen in PcVue during the switch between DST & "standard" time.

I know that our storage units (HDS, proprietary...) working with UTC format so I'm pretty sure that we don't have problem with historical datas.

But the question is: what happen in real-time? If I have for example an active alarm displayed in an AlarmViewer, then a DayLight Saving Time rule is switched off(1 hour back, for example), what my customer see?

I guess the alarm will be noted in the future. PcVue will not change the timestamp after switching time.
You can make the test easily now: Set an alarm then change the time 1h back.
