Hello,
I received this issue from a customer. Before taking remote control I come to you to know if anyone experienced something similar.

We are working in a project which is installed in 5 devices. 2 servers, 2 clients and 1 HDS.
We have configured the same networks drives in all computers. Only the Historical server can't launch the project with the central project version, showing the next message.
2021/06/29,18:37:55.558,6,W,,1,,1,The folder '' for the central project management is inaccessible,
I have been checking the knowledge base and I didn't find any information about this problem. I double-checked the configuration and it is correct. Even I have copied the server 1 project, which is currently working, and we get the same error.

Also, is it a way to activate traces for this feature?

Nico

I add 1 important detail: PcVue is NOT running as a service where the issue occurs.

Hi Nico,

Maybe your customer can check the user right and if it is possible to open/read/write in the central version folder.
You can check the sv.log, sometimes you can find useful traces and also windows event, if the problem comes from the system you will find an message.

But first of all, check the configuration and mainly the ini file.

One point for Brice 😉

The folder path is missing in the error message :
2021/06/29,18:37:55.558,6,W,,1,,1,The folder 'HERE' for the central project management is inaccessible

Thus, the ini file seems to not be complete. Remember that this configuration is not embedded in the project.

Ok, thanks guys, I should tell the ini.dat file check was the first obvious check I asked him to do 😉
And the permissions too!

I didn't ask the sv.log, good idea. THANK YOU Brice 😉
So, that will end up with a remote control for sure...
