Hi,
I have a request from a customer using PcVue 12. PcVue receives messages (in PcVue text variables) from applications such as a MES. Each message must create an alarm in PcVue, wich an operator can acknowledge. Then, the alarm will disappear.
As they don't know the number of alarms in advance, they cannot create them in PcVue.
The kind of messages is: "Error closing operation XXXX for the Production Order YYYYYYYYY".
Nico had the idea to create some internal alarms in PcVue (100 or 200), and with Scada Basic activate one of them when a message is received. Once the operator acknowledge the alarm, the alarm goes OFF (using the Latch Behavior property).
Do you have any similar examples?

With what you have described, here is a sample project.
It is not 100% compliant but it is the first thing I can provide.
