Hello

Have you already ever heard of the kiosk mode of Windows? ( docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/configuration/kiosk-methods )

It is a special user account configuration that can run only one application.
I have tested but it seems not to be possible with PcVue.
For now, it is reserved to Windows store applications.

If you have any information about it, don't hesitate to share.

This is interesting. When you said it does not work for PcVue, you mean you were unable to run the application from kiosk mode? I am interested to do a test for this when I have spare time as well.

Aside, I am wondering what kind of scenario the kiosk mode will be relevant to our clients. Probably it can act up as a dashboard on lobby with limited touch interface?

Hi Kantha,

Kiosk mode is our best option (best bet for the moment) for replacing the Windows desktop access for PcVue users.
There is a user right in profiles that allow/prevent user access to the Windows desktop from within PcVue. It is no longer functional for some years, and we have been looking for a replacement.
Recent evolutions of the Windows Kiosk mode are promising, but we are still unsuccessful.

Good if you have some time to investigate it with Anthony.
