Hello all,

don't laugh, but I have a scaling issue, that I cannot solve, hope someone has an easy idea:

My customers would like to scale a variable with "-1". So how to configure that in PcVue, not using a second variable and an expression?

In fact the Dev-Min is "-100", Dev-Max is "0". The output should be "value x -1". The Var-Min would be "100" and Var-Max "0".

Of course that does not work.

Do I have a logical error in my thinking?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Johannes,

For sure Var-Min (100) can't be greater than Var-Max (0) !!!

What I understood is your device is sending always the negative value. To be clear, if it send -70 you want displaying 70. Confirm?

In this case I think there are no ways. You must use an expression...
