I am writing this post to see if any of you have found a solution to this. I have some problems to display special characters in PcVue. I read the article [KB1057] Regional Settings Option, the option is disable in my PC by default. 1. If I write special characters from PcVue, is displayed well, but not in the files. 2. If I write directly in the files, PcVue cannot display it. I have two examples: 1. ComboBox, I wrote the .txt file from PcVue: Picture1 2. Variable description: Picture1 Register01 description written from PcVue Register02 description written directly in the varexp.dat Some of our customers have to import the varexp.dat directly instead of manually writing the variable descriptions. Thank you!!
I have tried adding "ANSI,1" in the PARAM.DAT file and it is fine!
It works for files like:
- - varexp.dat
- - Forms Control (ComboBox, Tree-View...)
- - Translation Import/Export
