I have debugged (of course with the help of many ARC persons) a big BACnet project in Vicenza for a military installation.
My record is:
- 40 days onsite
- 12'000 KMs of driving with car in about 24 journeys
- No remote access was possible
- 350 BACnet devices/routers with IP address on a single BACnet Network/broadcast domain
- Equipments: ~ 1300 Devices (IP & MS-TP & LON)
- 90'000 BACnet tags in polling mode because many devices was without a good COV/U-COV support.
Initial average tags refresh time in continuous polling: 45 minutes
After the tuning: Everything (except BASIC/EXPR/EVENT tags, trend and alarms) in Permanent Scan for Mimic:none
-> Open a Mimic: 2 seconds to display datas
-> Next refresh in 40 seconds
😉
I'm sure that is possible to supervise a biggest site, but I don't wish anyone to drive 12000 KMs to solve a problem! 😆
