What I meant is that we should not be so proud of a PcVue project with so many VBA code... which is not the philosophy of a generic SCADA
It's good to be opened to external script but I think that script might not be the main part of a project

Actually they had no choice. They have to communicate with a SQL Server database in real time: Event -> SQL Request -> Set data according the reply.
When they did this code the Manager Toolkit didn't exist (8.0).
Now, they are upgrading the sites in V10 and they are getting out this code replacing by Manager Toolkit interface 😉
