Hello all,
I got request , my customer has 1 computer (server), PcVue project and a lot of screens.
He wants that on different monitors opening different mimics. (at the same time and together)
He has 5 different buildings and 16 monitors and he wants that mange from one project. When the project opens, we get different mimics on different screens.
What do you think is it possible?

Hi Roman,
Have tried with the Region feature, or seen in Online help with key word "Region"?
It exist also a specific animation to send to a region and also the scada basic instruction REGION.

I know about this function, but i think it's not suitable for me. Could you see screen in attachment?
And if he has 16 screens

Hi Roman,

PcVue Region can manage 4 screens maximum.

So, if you want to manage 16 mimics you must manage the coordinates where you open the mimics by script.
But it depends what the users wants to do exactly.
Few examples:
- Do the mimics opened always on the same screen?
- Does the operator must select the screen before opening a mimic?

Remember it exists some limits in term of graphical objects that Windows allows to create. Our kb246 article is explaining that in details.

variable is not growing too much, should stay inferior to 9000.

Hi Roman,

In your case, you must run a script on startup. This script can open many mimics!
