Hello Alexandre

I think it is necessary to ask Alec.

But for me, you mentionned special technology based on Active Directory.

You can answer that PcVue is compatible with Active Directory into a domain. The LDAP protocol is used.

Hello,

For what I know, these 3 standards/specifications are used for SSO mechanisms. I've not heard about any experiences with them on PcVue. You can also ask Jerôme as he is the one who developped the ActiveDirectory interface in PcVue.

Hi Alex,

Just my guess: We are probably using a high level .Net objects to connect to Active Directory (AD) and these objects are querying AD through Windows interfaces. Therefore the protocol used is the one configured in Windows.
But, I said it is just my guess.

As said by Florent, better you ask Jerome by email. It should be nice if you copy his answer in this post.

Nico
