Hi all,

I am trying to make animations that show up when hovering over something, however it doesn't seem to be a function that is supported. Is there any way we can make this work? It could be interesting and useful for future projects. Thanks in advance.

Hi Fadi,

What kind of animation do you want to do?

Can we do it for visibility?

Sorry about that. What I have is an icon for a machine. I also have an object which displays the status of the machine, power consumption, etc. I want the display to appear when placing the mouse over the icon without clicking. Is this in any way possible or do we have to click to make the display visible? Thanks.

Hello,

In the properties of your picture, there is a tab named "effect" which allows you to choose a picture to display when your mouse hover the picture.
did you try this function ?

Hi Brice,

Yes I saw this feature but it's only for images. I need something that is similar to this but can be used for symbols or things that I have drawn, and also I don't want it to change the icon that I am hovering over. So it should be similar to visibility, but I want that to be possible without clicking and only through placing the mouse over the icon.
Do you think this is possible?

Hello,

In my understanding your are looking for a kind of "mimic open on mouseover". Unfortunately this animation does not exist yet.

As a first alternative, you can use the comment field to display additionnal details in tooltips. Comments of several animations are concatenated into a unique tooltip.

You still can do it with VBA code (yes I know Sylvain, you disencourage it), but it is not compatible with WebVue.
