Hello,

According to KB 24, 326 and 605, we need to add IIS_USR to USR and BIN folder fix connection problems with web server.

But sometimes the connection can be established without adding these specifics users.

Why ?

Hello Brice,

I'm afraid we are not able to give you an accurate answer.
It is like DCOM and SQL Server. Sometimes it works without touching anything, sometimes you need to set many things on. In the first case, Anonymous logon limits, more rights to Network, Interactive, System or Administrators and in the second case MSSSQLUser$$ €€ 😉

Hello Edouard,

I understand but in both case (DCOM and SQL), it is documented in PcVue online help. Not for WebVue.
Now my customer would like I justify these kind of modification.

The last thing is, with the new Security constraint, we need now to know what we do and not blindly.

But it is my mind 😉
