Bonjour a tout!
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using a cloud service platform like Azure, AWS, etc, for a "big" PcVue project?
A customer is looking for ideas to be able to deploy a PcVue project with 65.000 I/O in a cloud server, and he is asking for some information.
- Do you know of PcVue experiences in projects using PcVue in platforms like Azure, AWS, etc?
If so, what do you think the best option would be in terms of performance, difficulty to use, etc?
- With regards to Azure, do you know if there is another way to implement it other that a VM?

Yes, few projects are running more on Azure. About performance, nothing change apparently except for the communication. If this station is running as a Server then it must collect the data from the site and, for sure, it is slower than a local network.
There are no specific difficulty to use it, it is like working on a VM.
One important point is the license must be software only.
Last point: We have no tools to monitor the availability of PcVue (running, frozen, etc...).
- With regards to Azure, do you know if there is another way to implement it other that a VM?
No other way. Same for any other Cloud platform.
