Dear Team,
We are trying to test communication with Siemens S7 1200 with PcVue 16.0.2.
Please find the attached error in Driver status & Frame status.
We are able to ping it perfectly.
As in help, It shows,

0X5002 Not connected (equivalent to 102 in Modbus IP)

Hello,
-It seems you are not communicating with the device:

You should check Device configuration in PcVue :IP, rack/slot (example: rack 0 and Slot1)...

-Disable firewall during the tests

-Check also DB configuration:
DB should be No-Optimized, and optionPUT/GET selected:

-Try with a new PcVue project, with one device, one, frame, one variable

-You can also have look on this video:

PcVue- TUTO - Connect PcVue to Siemens S1500 using IP ISO S7 built-in PcVue driver

Hello Grégoire,
We have followed exact steps mentioned in the shared video.
But the communication is not yet established.

We have assigned RACK number, SLOT number, DB number as per the device details.
There is a frame error with General status as "2015" and Driver status as "0001".
I found this from help: Picture 1

The Frame status is :

We have enabled all the traces of Device and found this in eventviewer:

I could not get details of Read_Async error.

Regards,
Mansoor

Hello,
If you got this message, it means you were able to estabhish the communication with the device at least.
You should see conected at Network and Device level in PcVue.

Illegal Function could be because you selected a wrong format of variable in the mapping windows at variable level (example: I instead of I/O).

Hello Grégoire,
Thanks for the support,
It was my mistake that we did not used NETpro SIM while testing.
After we directly tested communication with actual S7 1200 device with entering correct DB, Rack number, Slot number as in the device configuration, its communicating now.
Once again thankyou!

Regards,
Mansoor
