Number max of items per group in OPC UA

Hi all

Does anyone know something about a number max of item in an opc-UA group ?

A customer told me he encountered problem with a Siemens S7-1500

With one group at 1sec (5000 variables) PcVue could not refresh any variable

He finally created 4 groups (300ms / 500ms / 700ms and 1100ms) and all was running perfectly.

Hello Nicolas,

I don’t know the answer but want to ask more questions.
What would have been the result with a 10 seconds group with 5000 variables?
Also with 5 one second groups of 1000 variables?

But I think it is a good idea to use prime numbers in all cases.

Hi Ludo

Don't know about it, it was in a project achieved few months ago and I don't think he did these tests.
