One customer uses FactoryLink and would like to get the same behavior with PcVue
They use SQLServer tables with columns for variables, 1 column for timestamp, and one for id (see attchment)
Their constraints are :
1/Display/modify data from/to SQLServer from PcVue, through a grid
2/Display data from SQLServer in a trendviewer
3/Records a block of data to their tables on event or cyclic trigger

These functionnalities are out of PcVue scope and I'm looking for alternative options

For the point 3/ I guess that a specific development in VBA or Dll is possible
For points 1,2, I think the use of an activeX could meet the constraints but I don't know one.
Questions :

Do you have any similar experiences and exemples of developpment or Active X

Thx

1/ Get data by VBA and populate our AIGrid.

2/ Since 9.0 SPx we can access the trendviewer's point by VBA. I think we can ask ND to, now, allow the VBA to populate the trendviewer. He knows this need and, probably, add it already on his "todo" list.

3/ As I said in anothe post...Manager Toolkit. We have pressure here to have it
