Hi everyone,

Do you have any idea what this message refers to?

2016/05/19,16:46:34.127,6,a,,172,DEV_OK,76,Message ignoré :
2016/05/19,16:46:34.127,6,6,T,,0,DEV_OK,76,[SV.Message.Nack.205.][UI> Nack - Id1=0 - Id2=0

I have a customerwho has this message everytime he executes a program to change local date and time.

I've tested it on a empty application application and i dont have any messages and the time is changed properly.

Any experience?

Hello Gnaroum,

I guess (hope) your customer is no longer using Windows XP, then you need to check several thing:
- does the running Windows user as administrative rights or not ?
- what is the UAC level (low, medium, high) ?
Did you run your tests in the excat same user conditions ?

Updating local date & time requires high privileges since Windows Vista, it could be something related to this.

By the way, a more explicit log message could be very interesting 😉 If you reproduce the issue by lowering your privileges (I guess your administrator of your computer with low UAC), I'll do a SPR just for you.

Regards,

¨Hi FLorent,

No the customer is using a W7.
I asked him if we was allowed to change the date time on the computer and his answers "YES i can change it Manually".
I will check his configuration with him and change my super admin right on my VM.

Thank you for your answer.

I'ill keep you in touch.

Hi Gnaroum,

Just to be sure: He is changing the data and time using the instruction SYSTEM mode SETTIME and SETDATE?

OK.
Honnestly Gnaroum I think you should create a support case and the hotline will request dev. team about the meaning of this message.
I think this message is not imporatnt but better double checking. It could be the tree hiding the forest

Hi everyone,

Hip hip hip Houra for FMA.

I reproduced the problem by changing the UAC configuration to the max.

So there is i think a SPR because this high UAC level doesnt forbid you to change the System Date time, it just show a confirmation pop up.

Thanks again.

SPR 62259 created for a more explicit error message. Not sure it is possible are it is a king of time-out issue.

This UAC level forbid this kind of action without the explicit consent of the user. It is programmatically impossible to workaround this issue. This is one of the purpose of the UAC, avoiding "untrusted" software to modify to configuration of the computer without notifying the user.

The minimum we can do is to display an explicit message in the logs indicating that the user has not the required privileges.
