Hello all,

to finish my lib, I have a configuration mimic included, which sets a global program, imports some archive-units, etc.

For the Param.dat (global program), it is not a problem, if updating both files (C-dir, CTemp-dir). So after restarting (on shotdown) the files are not overwritten.

My problem is the "TemplatesConfig.xml". I modify the file with VBA to allow the recursive defined properties and after restart (shutdown) PcVue overwrites my settings. I can not find a syncro-file for that. There is also no xml-import tag for that setting. Is it really not possible to set that setting out of a mimic?

Thank you

I am afraid it is not possible.
Why not providing the TemplatesConfig.xml in your library and request to copy it manually?

I think, it makes no sense, because if you have to document it, you also can document that he has to set a parameter.

Pascal also told me, that this config-file is "private", it means that nobody is guarantee for the format, it is free to Developer to change it.

After a discussion with her, there is no possibility for it. I have to document that this setting has to be set in the project-settings.

The best would be of course, if we could import also settings through the generic-xml interface, but its a dream. I mean the same problem could be with global program, etc...

Thank you.
