Installing WebScheduler 11 on a computer where PcVue 11 and 11.1 are both installed requires your attention:
- Sometimes the installation is not possible
- Sometimes the installation targets PcVue 11.1 instead of PcVue 11 (in this case, you must change the target directory proposed by default)
These behaviors are due to a problem in PcVue 11.1 install that corrupts registry keys of PcVue 11.
The problem is fixed since version 11.1.00013.
But, if registry keys of PcVue 11 are corrupted, they will remain corrupted, and the installation of a correct version of Pcvue 11.1 will not solve the problem.
The only definitive solution is the following (the order is important)
- First, Uninstall PcVue 11.1, OR Update it with a correct version
- Then, repair the current version of PcVue 11, OR update it
Reminder:
- WebScheduler 11 is intended to work exclusively with PcVue 11
- From PcVue 11.1, WebScheduler installation is no more standalone, but embedded in PcVue installation
- For versions prior to PcVue 11, you must use WebScheduler 2.0
