Hello,
A customer says that on several occasions the WebVue navigation has frozen. He can only see the first mimic, but no animation works. He can start other sessions with different users....
However, PcVue continues to function correctly. After restarting PcVue everything is back to normal.
Looking at the log files I found this error message, what influence does it have on WebVue?

2022/06/06,10:34:55.388,4,W,,1,Administrator,1,127.000.000.001:10502 Close socket following 180 seconds of consecutive timeout

Thank you!

Claudia

Hi Claudia,

Can you share the customer's PcVue version?
And the web backend and IIS server on the same machine, or a different machine?

He can only see the first mimic

Regarding this, does the date-time animation still updated?

If the answer is yes, and the customer is using V12 older than 12.0.18, then it might be related to the below SPR which has already been fixed. SPR http://intra/PortailSPR/AnomalieConsultation.aspx?IDanomalie=67305

Hello,

It is PcVue 15.2.0 [35917] and Web Server and web BackEnd are running in the same PC.
Yes, variables are updated in WebVue, but animations for navigation or sending commands do not work.

However, I have just been told by the customer that they have installed everything on another computer (the previous one crashed) and have not had the webvue failure again. Maybe it was a PC problem. So, for the moment I'll wait to see if they have an issue again.
I have some WebVue log files if you want to take a look anyway. In PcVue LogFiles there is nothing about webvue.

Thank you!
Claudia

Hi Claudia,

Thank you for your update. The phenomenon that you describe sounds eerily similar to what we had last time. Hope your customer do not face the same issue again, otherwise, we might need to troubleshoot again.

Also you can propose him to update his web browser and clean the cache.
