This topic has been created here to have an internal post about embedded SSRS (and Dream Report)
Brief discussion about ActiveX Web browser inserted in PcVue mimic.

Hi,

On the "PcVue Solutions Broadcast Series" YouTube channel we have a video demo showing SSRS and Dream report integrated with PcVue. (Link >>> https://youtu.be/Po9ZMtBthSY) I have some questions related to it

1. I think SSRS and Dream Report are integrated with PcVue using Microsoft Web Browser ActiveX control, is it correct.
2. How do the different types of reports, time period selection from a PcVue Mimic are configured.
3. How Dream Report is integrated, do we require any special license of dream report for this purpose.

Hello,

For Dream Report, if I remember well, it had been done using the integrated ActiveX component which was available at that time. Not sure it is still available and supported. Best is probably to use Web Browser ActiveX has you mentioned. It will access the web portal and you can use WEBVUE HYPERLINK mode to make it compatible on WebVue environment. It costs one Web access on the Dream Report licence.
