I have a customer that noticed a lost of communication between alert and PcVue.I quote (translated from French):
"We recently installed Pcvue and Alert on the site of one of our customer RTI Claro.
The system is working correctly but it seems that OPC communication between Alert and PcVue stops working after a certain amount of time.
We need to restart Alert for the communication to restart.
Right now we don't know how long it takes before the communication stops working because the system is not used often and we noticed the problem while visiting the site this week, which is 3 weeks after the last start if PcVue and Alert.
We are using PcVue version 10 SP2 and Alert 3.6 Rev 1.
Do you have any knowledge of such problem?
Is there something that can be done to force Alert to reconnect automatically?"
As you can guess I am asking the same question as my customer. Thank you for your help.

I would say, first action:
- Collect the PcVue OPC server logs
- Collect the Alert logs
