Hello all,
I got an error message from one customer who configured nearly 200 trend tables for their project, which has 44 stations(not PcVue station), each station has 4-5 types of data. When he restarted PcVue, he got this message "HDS.EXE [856]中发生未处理的Win32异常" see below, and then could not open PcVue.
Note: PcVue does not warn the users that there are too many trend tables in this case.
But, when checked the SQL side, all the trend tables have been created.
For the customer, I have suggested them to use 4/5 tables or 44 tables to store data if they don't want to record data in one trend table.
Has PcVue a limit of the amount of trend tables for one SQL DB and why when load HDS, we got this message?

One modification has been done in the newest version (10.0 SP2, 11.n), before it was 240 tables per project.
Now, it is configurable and the default value is 500.
Maximum value is 1000. You can set this in hdsconf.dat
[General]
MaxTables=1000
Take care, nobody has tested behavior with such amount of tables.
