Hi,
Does anyone have any experience configuring MariaDB archive unit? Are there any limitations?
It must be configured like ODBC archive unit, right?
BR,
Claudia
Hello,
Yes this will require ODBC archives, with its limitations.
From memory MariaDB is based on mySQL, so a different delimiter for requests may be necessary for table creations (odbc database advanced setting).
This should be enough to start.
Best regards,
Kévin
Hi Kévin,
Thank you for your answer!
A costumer wants to connect to a MariaDB but he is having some trouble. I have not been able to test because there is no HMI in the server.
PcVue Version is: 11.1 Update 122 [11.1.6122.29058 - 2019/08/19]
MariaDB version: mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.3.34-MariaDB, for debien-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 5.2
Driver MySQL Connector/ODBC 32 bits (screenshot).
The costumer has created some databases in PcVue with the option MySQL delimiter, you can find the file db.dat in the .zip folder.
In MariaDB there is one database ALARM_ODBC, with 2 tables, created by the costumer (LOG_...) and 1 table, RECH (screenshot of the columns) created by PcVue.
There are some error messages about column name type and creation of table (in logs.zip). Any idea about it?
The costumer can eventually create an environment test to try to configure everything from scratch.
BR,
Claudia
