Hello,

I have a customer ticket, regarding an error message on the event viewer when he playback files (I assume is VCR)

2022/09/05,19:55:37.474,5,W,,1,,1,The pool to store the log events during starting time is full,12000

Does anybody know what error is this, how it can be solved, or how to increase the pool?
I had no luck finding the message code 474 or the message detail.

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Kantha

Hello Kantha,

From what I know This event should appear at startup phase, when reaching 12000 events to be stored.
This is because the networking connections are not set up at the moment. It has yet to notify other stations.
This pool size cannot currently be increased.

This does not match with the situation you are describing. The playback should not be able to start before the sv32 startup phase. Or am I missing something ?

Best regards,
Kévin

Hi Kevin,

Thank you so much for the information. So in a normal scenario (optimized system), it will not have more than 12000 events during startup.

Yeah, I felt strange with the statement from the customer too, because he did say he encounter this error "when he playback files". I did ask for more information from him and am waiting for him. I will update here again once I have more information.

Thanks,
Kantha

Hello Kantha,

We already talk about that in another topic: https://www.pcvuesolutions.com/support//en/forum/12-archive-data-mgt/1807-weird-message#5054

Thank you so much, Ludo. I remembered having read it, but I couldn't find it. The other topic had the log message in the picture, so it is not searchable. I will add a comment over there with the "Keywords".
