Hey, everybody,

one of our customer asked whether PcVue is able to work with SQL-Server 2012. I told him that the compatibility is not yet verified. So did anybody made qualification with SQL-Server 2012 or is it on our road map?

Next version (PcVue 11) will be qualified with SQL Server 2012.

For previous versions, it seems that there are some problems, mainly with the additionnal tools (DBManager, DBImport, ReplicationManager). You should ask Arnaud to have correct information.

Answer from Arnaud:

1/ Officially it is not supported with old PcVue version, before 11.

2/ There is a Microsoft option to have a database compatible with older version. SQL Server 2008 for example with PcVue 10 and SQL Server 2005 with PcVue 8.10, 8.2, 9.0
It is configurable from the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, inside the options of the database.

1195=164 Databaseproperties

We never try this option but it should work for PcVue and our tools like DBManager or DBImport.
